Monica graduated from Buffalo State College with a B.S. in Education. She then received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from State University of New York at Fredonia. She has experience working with adult patients that have suffered various neurological impairments, nine years experience working with children with Autism at the DuBard School for Language Disorders, and currently works as an SLP in the Early Childhood Center for the Lincoln County/Troy R-III school district. Monica joined the team at Crislip Speech Therapy in March of 2010.
Monica has completed the Beginner and Advanced DuBard Association Method Seminars. She uses systematic, incremental, repetitive, multi-sensory rehabilitative strategies to address the needs of children. Monica has experience working with children with Autism, Cerebal Palsy, Rett’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and Speech and Language Disorders.
Current Certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, Missouri Student Services Teaching Certificate, and Missouri License from the Board of Healing Arts
